Cala, designed by Martin Ballendat, has won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021, the international accolade that has recognised excellence in design since 1955.

This achievement follows the Iconic Award and the Materialica Design + Technology Award 2019, confirming a design that unites aesthetics, function and environmental responsibility.

Its hallmark is its three-dimensional openwork structure: a lightweight weave that makes the chair visually transparent while also preventing dust from settling. Seat and backrest interlock without screws, and the polypropylene shell is fully recyclable.

Stackable and lightweight, Cala is today a complete collection: four-leg in metal or wood, cantilever, swivel with or without castors, and bench. Six types and a wide colour palette to sit naturally in contract, hospitality and office spaces.
